Double Aster is a beautiful block quilt, full of colors and prints that further highlight the design of the piece. We brought several options of colors and prints for you to see how the combinations are endless. There are times when we separate some fabrics and we think it won’t match, but when we put the clippings together, look how beautiful it is.
Block quilts are smaller pieces that we can adapt to make other pieces. We can use it to make a cushion cover, table runners, join several squares and make a quilt, or use it as a wall block quilt. In general, these are shorter projects, which you can do in a few hours. Perfect to enjoy and quilt on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. When choosing colors and prints, be careful to maintain the contrast between the clippings that are close together. If you place very similar fabrics close together, it won’t make every part of the double aster stand out and that’s what we don’t want.
