Beautiful Pink Quilt – Free Pattern

Hello my loves! Good to see you here again. How is your week going? We hope everyone is well and excited to put a new model into practice. Can you believe we’re already halfway through the month? In a short time we will be celebrating Christmas and another year that is coming. But until then, shall we quilt some more? Today we want to show you a new quilt, the Beautiful Pink Quilt.

See what a cool and different model. We are very used to repeating the block design throughout the quilt, but this one is different. To make this quilt you will learn thirty different blocks, that’s right. It’s a project that demands more attention because you won’t learn a design and repeat it. There are more formats to cut and you can’t do a serial process. You will need to learn one block at a time.

But that’s not a problem when you see how beautiful the quilt is. Also, each different block can become a new piece. With such a diverse quilt, it is easy to combine pillows and other elements that can compose the decoration of the environment. To make this quilt, the designer chose the colors pink and white for a very special reason, the pink October, month of the fight against breast cancer. In addition to looking beautiful, the reason is very important too.

You already know, as we always emphasize here, that the choice of fabrics should be made according to your taste. If you want to make the colored blocks, I’m sure it will look very nice too. The important thing is to always maintain a contrast between the fabrics that are close together, to highlight the design of each block. If you’re mixing a lot of colors, wash the darker fabrics first so you don’t run the risk of too much dye staining the lighter ones.

Always iron the fabrics, it will be much easier to make the markings, cutting and sewing. If you don’t have much time during the week, you can do one block a day. At Bear Creek Quilting Company, you will find the separate blocks. Look at the first one, make the cuts, sew and then move on to the next one. And you know that if you have any doubts, we are here to help you. Let us know in the comments, we’ll be happy to talk to you.
