Hello loves! Can you believe another week has passed? Now let’s go for another weekend. I like to take the opportunity to choose the patterns of the week or start new projects. Do you do some kind of planning with the patterns you want to make? For me this is the only way to be able to include them in everyday life. And that’s how I managed to complete the September Sun Quilt, this model so beautiful that it will complete your home decor.
What caught my attention in this pattern were the colors and combinations chosen. Almost all the patterns that we brought here use lighter colors and prints, some details are dark. The opposite can be seen in september sun, they are strong colors that highlight the design that the quilt forms. You can see that the combination of blue, black, red and white is very beautiful.
Sometimes they are colors that we don’t think about combining, but if someone hadn’t taken the risk to test, we wouldn’t have this beautiful idea to follow. And that’s the coolest thing about our community, we share ideas, models, experiences that encourage us to create and share too. It’s a beautiful cycle that with your help it wouldn’t exist. That’s why we were so happy to have you here with us, this space is for you.

Now let’s quilt. Following the pattern, you will end up with a quilt measuring approximately 88″ x 88″. This is a square quilt that looks the cutest thing on the sofa. And this tip is very useful, especially for this quilt. If you choose to use dark colors like this, wash the fabrics first to remove excess dye. It’s normal for the water to come out dark and that’s why we wash it before sewing dark and light fabrics together.
