Gentle Garden Quilt – Free Pattern

Hello beloved! Ready to spend another week together with us? We hope you are all well, rested after another weekend. Our team has put together amazing patterns and we hope you’ll be excited and stick with us to learn all of them. How about quilting a little? The Gentle Garden is a very beautiful pattern, with different details and cuts that make all the difference at the end of the assembly.

You may have already noticed that often the quilt detail is in the chosen fabrics. They sure make a lot of difference, being one of the main materials for these projects. In this quilt, the pastel tones make the quilt much more delicate. This is another pattern made in blocks, like most quilts we have out there. They are the best if we want to do a project in stages, making a block or blocks a day, without having to stop in between.

And they are perfect for those who need to adapt a size, whether larger or smaller. For this quilt you will learn two different types of block quilts, which you will alternate when assembling the quilt. Following all the instructions, you will end up with a quilt measuring approximately 74” x 86”. To compose the decoration and make the environment more cozy, whether in the living room or bedroom, you can add pillows.

You can make pillow covers from the block you learned or mix new shapes together with the quilt fabrics. As for the tips that we like to remember: if the fabric has very dark colors and other prints are light, wash the fabrics separately before starting to cut. Then iron them to be smooth and you can mark and cut more easily. Then I just quilt. Quilting is an art, whether as a profession or hobby, keep a space just for it and always do it when you’re inspired.

If you’re not in the mood but you have a pattern to deliver, put on a song that cheers you up and gradually get inspired and get started. The gentle garden pattern is available at Henry Glass Fabrics and in pdf, free for you to download and have at your fingertips whenever necessary. Separate the materials you need and let’s quilt!
