Leaf Quilt – Free Pattern

Hey sweeties! What a joy to meet you here once again, let’s learn a lot of incredible things together this week. Our team has separated very complete and free patterns for you to continue making beautiful pieces out there. We make our home cozier when we add more delicate touches like the Leaf Quilt. Quilts are traditional pieces, they are already present in almost every home.

If not exposed in the living room, in some room you will find a quilt. They can be purchased in many stores, but the pleasure and pride of completing such a piece is priceless. If you, like us, have crafts as a form of therapy, even if it is your profession, seeing the blocks forming, combining fabrics and prints, and having the final result is rewarding. That’s why we couldn’t help but share this pattern with you.

Another amazing quilt model that, even though it is very colorful and with different prints, the combination and the blocks form a very delicate and sophisticated quilt. Pastel tones have been on the rise for some time now and are not expected to go out of fashion. If you still don’t have much confidence when choosing fabrics, invest in these tones. They complement each other and make the piece incredible.

You can see that even the background color can be pastel. The important thing is to keep the contrast between the formed leaf and the rest of the quilt, to highlight the shape that is being created. The leaf quilt pattern is available at Tildas World. Read the entire pattern before thinking about starting and even buying the materials. See the fabric measurements and take the opportunity to mess with that box of scraps you must have around. Reuse pieces that can compose the quilt and save a little.

Make sure you have all the materials and let’s start the most time consuming part. Cutting all the details takes time and requires care not to waste fabrics. Then just start the fun part, at least for me, sewing. Assemble the first block paying close attention to all the steps. Then just repeat the same steps 20 times to have a quilt of approximately 147cm x 184cm. Take the opportunity to save the pdf and have it with you whenever you need it. Quilting time!
